Chikmaglur: At a distance of around 29 km from Naduvinamadkal located at the foot hills of Mullayah giri range is Chikmaglur which is known for its coffee planatations and untouched natural surroundings. Chikmaglur literally meaning “town of the younger daughter”, as legends state, is said to have been given as dowry to the younger daughter of Rukmangada, the legendry ruler of Sakaryapatna.

Datta Peetha (Baba Budan Giri): One of the highest mountain peaks between the Himalayas and the Nilgiris. Guru Dattatreya and Bababudanswamy Dargah: On the Baba Budan Giri; Imam Dattatreya Peetha venerated by the Hindus and the Muslims alike; laterite cave believed to have been stayed in by Dattatreya Swami and Hazrat Dada Hayat Mir Khalander.

At a distance of around 80 km from Naduvinamadkal lies a beautiful hill station, Kemmangundi. It is known for its favourable climate throughout the year and its natural beauty. Breathtaking water cascades like the Hebbe falls and the Kalahasthi falls finds its existance near Kemmangundi.

Mullayah Giri The highest point in Karnataka, Mullayah giri is just about 45kms from naduvinamadkal. From this peak you can witness the most spectacular sight of the golden setting sun.

Sringeri Situated on the banks of the River Tunga is Sringeri, the home to a number of temples like the Sri Shardamba temple and Sri Vidyashankara temple. Sringeri is where the mutt of the Advaitha vedantha philosophy was first established by Adi Shankaracharya.

Kalasa: In the town of Kalasa, Mudigere Tq, Karnataka, lies the holy temple Kalaseshwara dedicated to Lord Shiva. Kalasa is located on the banks of the Bhadra River, about 70 Kilometres South-west of Naduvinamadkal.

Horanadu: About 65 kms or about a 1 and a half hour picturesque drive from Naduvinamadkal is Horanadu which houses the famous Anapoorneshwari temple. The route to the temple is painted with natures bounty.

Kudremukh: Distance 80km of south-west of Naduvinamadkal is the secluded hill station of Kudremukh. Situated 1894 above sea level, the Kudremukh hills overlook the Arabian Sea and are chained to one another with deep valleys and steep precipices. Lonely, unspoilt places to camp can any trekker resist Kudremukh? This place is also rich in iron-ore deposits.
